Mumford Restoration

(Before and afters attached) I am absolutely wowed. My grandfathers childhood kitchen chairs have been in my family for 70 years. I was worried they’d never be used again because of their condition. My chairs are now unrecognizable after Mumford Restoration gave them another chance at life!! I am so so thankful these chairs are fully restored!! Mumford recovered our 25 year old sectional couch and it was worth the wait! Their craftsmanship is excellent and we are thrilled with the end result. Friends asked why we simply didn't purchase a new piece. I learned that ours (custom made) was much better made than most new pieces. Additionally, older couches were not as deep as newer ones. This made the decision an easy one.

Mumford did an excellent job in recovering a chair. One fabric had a pattern, and Mumford centered it beautifully. The solid fabric cording was precisely placed. They used remaining fabric to make 2 pillows, again choosing a particular scene to appear on both sides of each pillow. Quality workmanship!

For years I wanted to restore the upholstery on our formal living room furniture that was very special to my mom. I also wanted to restore this back to as close to the original look as possible. Mumford Restoration did a beautiful job on a Victorian Settee and antique dresser that had belonged to my mother. The results are perfect! I had debated sending the settee to the dump, but it now looks fantastic and I am very happy that I kept this family heirloom. The staff at Mumford from estimate visit , pick up and delivery could not have been nicer. It was a great experience overall.
