Museum of Ceramics

We really enjoyed our visit to the museum of ceramics — it was both interesting and educational. Laura was very welcoming and gave us a great tour, sharing engaging facts along the way. The diorama displays and the Lotus Ware collection were fascinating, especially the story behind them. We visited with our 12- and 13-year-olds, and since it wasn’t crowded, we had plenty of time to explore. We’ll definitely return.

What a great historical venue. I just happened to find this place while exploring downtown E. Liverpool. There's a lot of historical ceramics, pottery and wooden mechanical tools on display. There's a lot of history of serveware that tells the story of American dishes, meals and how we gather around the table.

More people need to know about this museum. It is full of history about this small town and is a great place to kill a few hours. I learned a lot more than I thought I would, and there was so much to see. It is truly a very unique museum, and I am very happy to have visited.

We stopped here and spent over an hour admiring the collections, which included a number of historic and iconic pieces. Guide was very friendly and gave us an informative walk through. If you love Midwest history, ceramics, and/or pottery— highly recommend stopping in!

Absolutely wonderful. So much history of East Liverpool, Ohio and the ceramic industry. Really worth the trip.
