0 stars should be an option. The most cuthroat power company i have ever had the displeasure of being at the mercy of. You cannot get an extension until youve been with them a year AND A MONTH, and when you are elegible for an extension, you get one extra week- a pleasant surprise for anyone who gets paid biweekly. They also like to add on multiple 2 dollar late fees the next month even though you paid your late fee, and they wont explain what its for and cannot remove it. Theyll charge you 30 extra dollars to put a 24 hour notice on your door without knocking and telling you. The workers are nice, but the company knows it can get away with being so cuthroat because its the only power company for this area. There are no exeptions to their rules, even in emergency cases, the workers cannot

Very nice folks and fast service. Only downside is the hours. It’s hard to make it to their office to make a payment by 5 when you work in Starkville and don’t get off until 4:30. I wish they were at least open on Saturdays or offered online payment. No power losses as of yet, deposit was insanely expensive, but the monthly rates are great.

They will hurry up to cut your lights off on the cut off day, will not even give you time to have somebody bring the money because you are sick with Covid.I wish we could get our power some where else!

The worse place even these people cant give you a break or even start a payment plan with you all i can say is they are the worse i rather have 4county electric at least they work with you
