National Weather Service Office Paducah

i live in the neighbouring CWA (MEG), but still follow them. knowledgeable and reliable to serve all.

I toured the Paducah KY NWS It was VERY informative!!! Got to see the doppler radar, and all their forecasting stuff and their Radio station for Amateur Radio. The staff was very welcoming and polite.

Normally you all are spot on. What is going on with tonight's radar? I'm concerned about the rain/flood threat. But when I access the radar every thing near our area is brown with zero reflectivity. Am I missing something, or is this another DOGE consequence?

Our amateur radio club had a great visit, we had a great time learning about how the NWS keeps us safe.

Thank you for all the work you do. Your efforts have probably saved our lives. However, something different has happened in the last two weeks, The severe storm warnings are coming up on our weather radio at least 10 minutes AFTER the storm has hit. Why? In the past, we heard warnings several minutes or even an hour before the storm hits.
