Nevin and his team did an amazing job with structural pruning of 6 large, mature trees on our property. Immediate transformation in curb appeal! Excited to begin the next phase of the project in a few weeks. Update: Nevin and Native Soil just completed the second phase of our project which included planting many new shrubs/trees, transplanting others, and preparing new areas of our property for turf. Nevin was extremely thoughtful and patient as we finalized our design and the execution was flawless. We’re looking forward to working with Native Soil on the next phase of our project in early 2025.

We were referred to Native Soil and Nevil by another small business that installed our deer fence around our newly built home. We wanted to start healing the soil and enhance its health in a sustainable way in keeping with our overall plan to live more gently. Nevil was quick to meet with us and understood what we wanted to do, suggested several options, and other things to do for maximum impact as we get started. This week, he filled our new raised beds, spread compost to our open yard area and submitted soil tests. We plan to make the yard a polinator field to be shared by our dogs. Native Soil just completed part one of my backyard garden transformation plan, planting beautiful trees along the property line and beginning the transformation from an empty turf area to a beautifully landscaped area that will provide privacy and shelter to birds and other critters. Nevin's attention to detail and knowledge are obvious, and I found him and his helper very pleasant and easy to deal with. Nevin did a wonderful job in our yard. We didn’t have any knowledge before we began this project but Nevin introduced us to the world of trees and bushes. Explained us why we should or should not do things we proposed and he has a wonderful vision to make yards look goegeous. When he arrived for the work he didn’t just install trees, he installed the most beautiful large trees, much better than we had hoped for.
