Avoid this company if you value your time or if you expect a small company to have any semblance of customer service. I scheduled an estimate appointment with Nelson's to have my white oak deadwooded since they appear to have good reviews and advertised in a local flyer. The earliest they could fit me in was 1.5 weeks out, which was fine by me. They gave me a 9am - 11am window. I took the morning off work to wait for them and ensure that this estimate would be completed. In fact, I scheduled another estimate with a different company for 8am that same day so that I could have multiple bids to compare. Nelson's Tree Service (NTS) Columbia Missouri We needed to take down a Very Tall & Massive Pecan tree right next to the Katy Trail in Rocheport Mo. My construction background gave me the knowledge that this was no small job to be handled by anyone other than “Professionals”. I knew when the morning came, I would know how the day would go, by seeing what NTS sent for man power and equipment. SO…… NTS showed up “EARLY” with…… “8 MEN” (Yes 8 Men) - 2 Spiders (giant bucket lifts) - 2 Avants (small powerful tractors with wide rubber wheels that take it easy on the yard grass as they pick up and remove large heavy limbs) - A large no joke Stump grinder - A large Hauling truck with Lifting Boom to very efficiently remove the cut limbs, that were being quickly collected and stacked by the Avants

Had a tree drop done over here today from Nelson' the four men did a great job cleaned up the mess put everything back the way it was. Was a big job was here most of the day from 8 to 2:00. They were very polite did it in a fast very professional Manor was very impressed. I just wish me and my dad have this kind of equipment they used here back when we had a treetop in business LOL sure would have saved a lot of time and work 🤔😄 how times have changed. They are on time. Got the work done as they said they would. They took time to listen to my goals and worked toward them. Clean up was quick and complete. Highly recommend Nelson's Tree Service.

We had Nelson’s Tree Service, LLC (Columbia, MO), trim a tree a couple of years ago due to branches hanging over the sidewalk. They did a wonderful job! They were careful, cleaned away all remnants, were fast, friendly and reasonable priced! Because of the prior excellent service, we had them come and trim 3 trees. Darrell came and gave us a reasonable estimate and discussed what should be done despite being very busy due to recent damaging storms in our area. Again, excellent service at a reasonable price, fast, efficient, cleared away the debris and even took away a small pile of sticks we collected from the yard so lawn could be mowed. We couldn’t ask for better service!!!!! I would recommend this tree service company’s services for all your needs. Thank you for such great servi
