Having a terrible experience with NBPA is a rite of passage for New Brunswick residents. I have seen MANY unfair, inconsistent and wrong tickets in 3 years and it’s only gotten worse. Also ironically the #1 intersection, crosswalk, and fire hydrant blockers Stop targeting cars 25+ feet from the stop sign 🙄 and focus on the expired meters or the cars without permits that take our limited spots. $50 frivolous tickets after driving around 20 mins every night during the school year looking for a spot hurt the community and drive people out of this city. I highly recommend looking for a place with a driveway or garage instead of street parking particularly if you live in college ave area. There are also some quieter side streets with spots near St. Peter’s to park.

The New Jersey Parking Authority is by far the worst parking authority I’ve ever dealt with. Honestly, it feels like they’d be better off robbing a bank—it would be less outrageous than how they operate. I received a ticket claiming I parked for more than 8 hours. That is completely false—I parked from 1:00 AM to 8:00 AM, which is only 7 hours. Despite disputing the ticket, the court still found me guilty. To make matters worse, the original fine was $55, but after the dispute it went up to $85 due to “overdue” penalties. Are you kidding me? The whole system feels like it’s rigged. I wouldn’t be surprised if the judge’s family owned the parking authority. It’s ridiculous, unfair, and feels like nothing more than a money grab. Avoid parking under their authority if you can—you’ll save yo

I had a frustrating and disappointing experience with the New Brunswick Parking Authority. When I tried to pay my parking ticket at the garage, the machine wasn't working. I was instructed to proceed to the exit where someone would assist me. Unfortunately, no one showed up to help. After waiting a considerable amount of time, the ticket finally went through, but I was charged extra because of the delay. This kind of service is unacceptable. A properly functioning system and prompt assistance are the least one should expect. To make matters worse, when I contacted them to request a refund for the extra time, they kept blaming me for the issue, citing the time my credit card was charged as the reason. This is highly unprofessional and unfair. I was there for only an hour, which should hav

New Brunswick's parking laws are absurd. If I'm renting an apartment and my family is 5 where I live they only allow me two cars. The other 3 are parked outside because I have not other option, and they give me tickets all the time. What am I going to do? I only work for tickets, and this wasn't the case before. There must be some solution without hurting other people's pockets, or do we have to go talk to someone about this because it's not fair?

Very disappointing experience with this parking service. I received a $50 fine for staying just 10 minutes past my paid time because the event I attended ran longer than expected. I tried to pay online, but the website didn’t work properly and kept giving me errors. I also wanted to dispute the fine, but there was no clear option to do so despite what the site claims. Overall, an incredibly frustrating and disappointing experience — it feels unfair, unhelpful, and shows a complete lack of consideration for customers.
