Newtown Pools

Had our liner replaced recently. Work seems solid. Work started just over a week after the ETA start date, however I am guessing due to COVID19 and delays that the liner took longer to receive. Owner Pat came over after business hours to get the pump in the pool to remove the water making sure there were no more delays, which was very nice. Work started two days later and they got the job done in two days! Very nice!

I’m going to delete this after because I don’t want to add to your negative reviews, that’s not our intentions as we respect small independent companies. My husband below just couldn’t respond to your response below. All we wanted to do was have a conversation and figure out how we could move forward. We do think it was out of complete left field that you chose to cancel the contract without even having an open conversation like a client and customer should. You saying “due to us being unreasonable” (which is the first time you even said that was the reason why, you never shared that with us!) is incorrect as my husband agreed to pay the extra contractor to do the work. The owner of this company is beyond arrogant. Customer service is terrible. They send young guys out to do work who barely have any experience beyond pool cleaning. I will absolutely never use this company again. Just bad I guess I’m done the only one on blanket meadow rd that have problems with this company review down below 6 Months ago.. Pat and the guys at Newtown were great! Responsive and knowledgeable at a fair price. Ordered our liner had it before promised date the guys were all so nice. Pete and his crew of installers did a fantastic job without hesitation. Answered all our questions and were just kind people. Don't think twice call Pat for a pool!

Newtown Pools wasted ~7 months of my time and now I'm back at square one with finding a company for my new pool construction project. They abruptly canceled my contract 2 weeks ago. Newtown came recommended from a friend, who warned me that the customer service wasn't great, but they were very happy with the finished product in the end. One factor which led me to choose Newtown was they told me "There is no charge for a sample pool design" and "engineering is part of the new pool contract". The engineering statement was a bit misleading. Our main point of contact was David.
