Bought a house in tea. Undeveloped lots next door never get mowed, construction workers drove their telehandler through my yard, snow removal just blew a 5 foot tall pile of snow onto my property. All the houses west of me have water in the basements and theyre less than 7 years old. Houses for sale on our street are listed over 400k for the lower priced ones and they won't even return your phone call. Every single neighbor on my street told me they dont come back and fix things or they wait until the day before the warranty is up and come do a super poor job. Absolutely do not recommend will never buy another Neilson home again. I keep editing tonight as I remember all the stuff wrong with them. Looked at some homes with Lindsey from this company a few weeks ago. Was now ready to potentially make an offer! Lindsey would no longer return phone calls or text! So called and got connected to Manager Amy! She writes me "we have decided we are not able to provide you any services." She said i was not allowed to buy a home with them directly or through a Realtor! No explanation as to why! Never had any issues with them before this. Its Not like we got into an argument or something and then they did this. We had nothing about friendly conversations and i asked a few questions about there homes like any buyer would. i have perfect credit and was planning to pay cash! I do not understand what happened! No explanation is what is weird. I am a single 40 year old guy! I have a home to sell in

We have been in our home for 7 years and have had a few minor issues (dormer window needed replacing, moving of electrical outlets, roof issues), but after the recent storm we contacted Nielson about a perceived issue with the installation of roof flashing, after the insurance adjuster and roofing company suspected that it was installed incorrectly in a couple of places. Eric was so responsive and came out immediately following the submission of concern. He explained and showed that the flashing was, in fact installed correctly, and that there were other spots (he helped seal) that may have been the cause of some water getting in over the years. Grateful for his work to address this concern and others, and especially appreciative of his professionalism over the years.

With a my broker I tried to buy Nelson construction new home. My broker convinced me to buy their home without inspection because he thought house is new. House wasn't finished but the time I agreed to buy it and within 4 weeks they completed the house with unexpected way. in fact there was some projects unfinished. Before closing date I started doubt about their construction quality. House had in know damaged on the basement. I asked my dealer the reason and wouldn't bring me enough reason besides telling me it is cosmetic damage. I decided to do home inspection and many cracks, dents found. Couldn’t have asked for a better home building experience from start to finish. Extremely professional, informative, and knowledgeable about each phase of the building process. They paid close attention to details, quality, and always responded quickly to any questions we had. Highly recommend!
