NightOak Outdoor Lighting

I just had my outdoor lighting done by NightOak Outdoor Lighting, and I normally don’t write reviews (even though I read plenty of them). I’m making an exception because I am so impressed with the work they did—my yard is now an absolute dream. A few years ago, I had some outdoor lighting installed by another large, well-known company. They did a fine job, but it was nothing that made me want to write a review. This time, with the economy the way it is, I wanted to support a small, family-owned local business. I hadn’t heard of NightOak before, but when Charles came out to give us an estimate, I was immediately impressed by his professionalism, creativity, and thoughtful ideas. I've engaged quite a few contractors to fix/upgrade my newly-purchased home, and NightOak comes in at number one. Charles was transparent and hyper-responsive throughout the process, proactively providing updates on the project and even working around delays on my end. Charles also went above and beyond in an attempt to fix an issue not covered in the original estimate. We wanted some lighting in our back yard and gave Charles a call. After meeting with him we asked him to design what he thought would be best. Wow! We had Charles come to do some repair on the yard light setup we inherited from the previous owner. While we kept the same lights (some needed repair which he took care of easily), we decided to upgrade the boxes and get some messy wiring cleaned up. It’s so much better now! Charles is a creative problem solver and really interested in helping his clients. He’s definitely a people person and is super willing to help you understand your situation and possible solutions. He also did amazing cleanup afterwards which was icing on the cake. We recommend NightOak whole-heartedly.

The experience working with NightOak on our lighting project was exceptional. We had a fair amount of lighting to begin with and wanted to finish off the thought / project. Charles took his time to discuss my vision, brought in sample lighting and we worked together to get it perfect. The install was thorough and careful. My yard was not disturbed at all!
