DO NOT PARK HERE !!!! i parked here without looking at all the reviews first and i too failed victim to getting a ticket in the mail. it says $65 for parking in a “private lot” when it literally says public on the sign… but if i don’t pay the $65 in the time frame they will up the charge to $90. i paid thru the app and it was $5 but apparently it is a huge scam. do not park here but if you have to, make sure you keep all receipts and screenshots so you can get rid of the charge !!!

DO NOT PARK HERE. This lot is managed by a predatory company called Parking & Transportation Compliance (PTC) that uses deceptive practices to trap drivers. I parked here for exactly 28 minutes. I tried to pay using the QR code provided on their signage, but the link was broken and wouldn't function. The only physical kiosks nearby are for City of Raleigh parking, not this private lot. A few weeks later, I received a "Notice of Non-Compliance" for $90.00. Their own website lists the hourly rate for this lot at $5.00. They are attempting to charge an 1800% markup because THEIR payment system failed. I disputed the claim with proof of the time and the technical error, but they denied it immediately. Received a “Notice of Non-Compliance” from Parking & Transportation Compliance (PTC) even though parking was already paid and I had proof of payment. I disputed the notice using the contact information listed in PTC’s Terms & Conditions and attached proof of payment, requesting written confirmation that the notice was voided and that no further billing would occur. I also filed a consumer complaint with the Florida Attorney General so there is an official record of the issue. If you receive a notice, keep your receipt, dispute it in writing, and save your documentation.

If you get an “invoice” from this garage, it’s from a private company, not the city. Before you pay, here’s how to fight it: 1. Keep everything – photos of the lot/signs and your payment receipt. 2. File a complaint with the NC Attorney General – Consumer Protection Division (Google “NC DOJ consumer complaint”). 3. If they threaten your credit, file with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) as well. 4. Reply to the company in writing that you dispute the invoice and have reported it to the AG/CFPB.
