If I could give 5 stars to the Jacksonville, FL crew who unpacked my things I would. THEY were appalled at the condition of our things and did everything in their power to fix what they could and make it right. Even the 3rd party company (Alliance) that had our breakables crated took pictures of the damage crates! This is the tip of the iceberg of how our things were handled and cared for during our move. Shame on Sterling, CT based North American Movers for their lack of care or response to our damaged and "missing" (tools, ladders, handtruck, and so on) items. Total lack of respect and care for people belongings. Disgusting. Sterling's response "put in a claim". Don't be fooled by their pricing either. Under estimating the weight of your things then charging you more in the end. If

The worst experience I ever had. Items broken and missing. Delivery was late, understaffed. Something catastrophic must have happened and it was covered up until I started opening boxes. Boxes were crushed, glasses broken, they snapped the back legs off a cast iron bench my father gave my mother. Items from broken boxes randomly tossed into boxes. As the night grew late, boxes were literally dumped in a heap in our basement. I woukd advise you to not to use this company. I am totally traumatized, angry and sad.

Very disappointed with the number of scratched, chipped, damaged and missing items, and with the fact that the moving company fraudulently completed the moving inventory to prevent us from filing the appropriate claims. Driver was Jamie from Key West Florida, with a packing/loading crew from Hartford, CT. They recorded false information on the moving documentation forms, claiming that we had disassembled some of the furniture ourselves, so when we tried to submit a claim for the damages they caused, the North American Van Lines adjuster would not honor it. They also "lost" several of our valuable items, and again the adjuster would not reimburse us for those, claiming that their policy required us to notify them of the missing items on the day of the move (which is ridiculous, as we did

We should have used a big name brand company moving from the Bay Area to CT. Our move back to the Bay Area was really done professionally. What a good outfit these guys are! Highly recommended.

Damaged our rare Dutch Musical Longcase antique clock, made around 1740. NAVL’s Allied Services didn’t crate the clock correctly. Claim services has been slow to respond with a timely repair plan. We are devastated by the loss of this family heirloom. Even if repaired, there will be a huge loss in its pre-damage value.
