North Campus Parking Deck (W23)

Parking is airways rare and appreciated on campus. This location is interesting in that it is right next to the site of Georgia Tech's now-demolished nuclear reactor. As one of my kids toured the campus we walked by here. The guide was baffled when I mentioned the reactor. It was used in the seventies thru eighties to train nuclear engineers. It was used to produce medical radioactive sources for cancer treatment.

License plate recognition seems to be down often and sometimes it won't accept my permit/buzzard and just completely won't let me in or out (which is a bit annoying for how expensive a permit is). I have always been able to get a parking spot though and it is clean and in a good location.

A few blocks from McCamish Pavilion. We prepaid for a spot before the game and that was easy and convenient.
