This is a great company with excellent technicians who can provide you with resources and instructions for proper maintenance of woodstoves. Our 1980's era Dutchwest Convection Heater woodstove needed some basic repairs. Northeastern Chimney demonstrated proper door gasket installation, materials to clean the glass, and most importantly inspected our woodstove pointing out critical information for accurate burns from the owner's manual we had on hand.

We had a great experience with Northeast Chimney from start to finish. We compared their quote and scope of work against another vendor, and Northeast Chimney was far more thorough, detailed, and transparent in explaining what actually needed to be done and why. That alone gave us a lot more confidence in moving forward with them. Had Northeastern Chimney come out to do inspection and cleaning of fireplace and flue. The 2 techs (Kyle and his assistant (do not recall his name) were efficient and courteous and made sure to protect floor and carpet from any debris. They also explained how they inspected the chimney and flew a drone to check outside from above. A report on the inspection was then emailed to me. Overall very satisfied with their work and price and would recommend to anyone looking to have a decent and trustworthy company come into their home. Also, a few weeks later called with a few questions and was promptly called back by Dave and questions were answered.

The technicians are very friendly, and I've had good experiences with them in the past, but their office is a disaster. Apparently they were bought out, which would explain the drastic drop in customer service this year. I've never had to babysit a company so much in my life for a repair. It's been months of back and forth with this company for a repair and warranty claim I first called for back in September. They sent people out to verify the repairs were really needed not once, but twice, and failed to follow up after it was indeed confirmed. I've had to call numerous times to remind them I'm waiting for work. Nobody in the office ever seems to know what's going on.
