When I called, an administrative assistant gathered details about my concern and confirmed that there was access to the area. She mentioned that Mark would reach out soon. Northern Illinois Waterproofing did an excellent job from start to finish. The team was professional, knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly. They handled our foundation repair, installed a new sump pit and pump, and buried the downspout extensions and the quality of the work was outstanding. We have a unique basement that was built in the mid 1980's by the previous owners 20 years after the house was built. Numerous mistakes were made in the construction of the basement which led to a lot of seepage. After years of attempting, unsuccessfully, to fix the issues myself, I contacted Mark and NI Waterproofing. Mark clearly articulated the problem areas and offered solutions that were different than a couple of the other waterproofing companies suggested. These guys are amazing. They solved water issues in my previous home as well as my current one. They have performed many services: digging a trench at the old house, replacing a sump pump in the new one, cleaning and repairing window wells and installing covers, installing new basement windows, and sending a friend of theirs to replace a hose spigot. All work was done in a timely manner and to the utmost satisfaction. They are both personable as well as professional. I highly recommend them.
