I would give Northern Roots more stars if I could. The owner takes great pride in the company's work. For one thing, they don't take on more customers than they can handle. This means that Northern Roots' customers get first-rate service. Perhaps the thing that impresses me the most is the constant communication. The owner sends emails before and after every snowfall, which answers all my questions. I know exactly what's going to happen, when, and why. Every company should learn from this!

Anytime I had a question or needed assistance, they were readily available by phone, making communication seamless and easy. What impressed me most was their consistency and reliability. After the past two dry summers, my lawn was suffering. It started dying off and getting thin, no matter how much I ran the irrigation. I was convinced it was just too dry. Later this summer, I finally asked for a lawn analysis from Northern Roots. Emery was out the next day and said that water wasn’t the issue; I had a fungus AND bug problem. His techs were out two days later starting treatments for both. Along with that, they started me on regular fertilizer treatments. The picture on the left shows how my lawn looked for almost two years. Northern Roots’ treatments fixed it in under a month!

We have been customers of Northern Roots for 15 years in 2 different houses. We use them for the winter snow removal and all of our lawn care needs. Emery and team do a great job and respond quickly to any concerns or questions I have. They are fast to correct any issues (very few of those) and do a nice job communicating all year long on status, timing, and available services.
