We used Northern Virginia Tree Experts to cut down one dead maple tree and one small redbud tree. They also ground the stumps with their robotic stump grinder. Chris came and gave us a written estimate. Their price was comparable with other estimates. This company offers discounts during their low season. Brian, the office manager, was friendly and offered us a 10% discount if we wanted to take care of the two trees now. The crew of four showed up on time. They were efficient and finished the job quickly. They cleaned up thoroughly after completion. We were satisfied with their service and highly recommend them if you need any tree service.

Unfortunately we did not have the same experience. We scheduled an estimate for some tree limb cutting and to have a small tree that we planted in the front garden examined. The estimator arrived on a day when it was raining lightly and my wife went out to speak to him but he did not get out his car. He stated that he could not cut the tree branches hanging over our driveway because the tree itself was in the neighbor's yard. We have had this done before without any issue but I assume that this is NVTE's policy so not going to make it an issue. The issue was the small tree in our front garden.
