Northwoods Builders recently completed a kitchen remodel and mudroom addition to our house. The lead carpenter, Jim, and his team did high quality work and clearly take pride in their work. The designers at Northwoods Kitchens were very helpful in picking materials and finishes that make our kitchen feel fresh and functional. In every large renovation project there will be some things that don't quite turn out as planned, but the sign of a good contractor is how they address them. John, the owner and general contractor, was very accommodating and often took extra steps to make things right. We are very happy with the results.

We had back-to-back emergencies — a pipe burst in our sunroom and then a primary bathroom drainage overflow that caused a massive leak into our kitchen. It was incredibly stressful, but Northwoods was outstanding from start to finish. Clint was extremely responsive and worked directly with our insurance company to clearly communicate what the remodel would involve. While our insurance was very difficult to deal with once the job was ready to begin, Northwoods remained timely, efficient, and professional throughout. They also worked with us to salvage what could be saved (our cabinet doors and drawer fronts) and carefully rebuilt what was needed, including new cabinet boxes. Clint and the team have been instrumental in helping us bring our dream home to life. Our project was done in 2 phases, and for what it is worth, we asked Northwoods to come back for phase 2 because we trusted them to deliver what we wanted. The crews are artisans, strive for perfection, very trustworthy and respectful. They redid our entire home: kitchen, bathrooms, cabinetry installations, heated flooring in basement, exterior remodel, and more. We are done for now, but if we ever had a need for a general contractor we would have Clint / Northwoods, and the crew led by John Rodriguez back with confidence.

Northwoods Builders completed a gut renovation of our kitchen in Brookline in 2019, as well as handled finishing touches throughout our entire home prior to our moving in. Clint and his team were wonderful to work with, his pricing is competitive, the work was excellent and his team finished on time and at budget. We had very difficult neighbors in a two-family home (this is putting is mildly) and Clint and his team managed their expectations and took a lot of stress off of our family. We are about to embark on a huge home renovation with Clint in Cambridge due to our excellent experience with his team previously (two floor gut, with two new bathrooms). Once again, Clint’s pricing was competitive and we trust his work completely.
