OGD Overhead Garage Door

My wife and I heard a loud bang...like a gunshot this past Friday night, and thought a tree had fallen on the garage. Turned out it was the spring snapping in half from the cold on our garage door. A quick Google search showed OGD to be local and the only company available on weekends. Wendell arrived and was very professional, explaining in detail everything we needed and he didnt try to oversell or push anything on us we didnt need. That is always appreciated in this economy. Got it fixed in much less time than we thought it would take, and we're both parking in the garage again. It even works better than before. Looks like we found our "garage guys". 5 stars, OGD.

OGD provided accurate time estimates for our project. Both technicians we worked with were professional and friendly. Christian installed our new doors and he was very thorough. He took extra time to get the door properly aligned and running smoothly. I was very pleased.

I called to see about getting our HomeLink buttons in our cars reprogrammed to our opener. The lady on the phone said that they could do that and it would be $60. They get here and quoted me just under $300. He couldn't just reprogram it, he would've had to do inspections and maintenance, most of it on the doors (which has nothing to do with our problem), before he could even try to reprogram it. And after all of that, it may or may not have been able to be reprogrammed. So I paid $60 for the tech to tell me that he can't do what I was asking for. Not his fault though, he was polite and apologetic about the misunderstanding, it's the person I spoke to on the phone that needs to learn how to communicate what exactly that $60 is paying for.

Be careful if you use this company. I called them and they sent out a tech to give me an estimate. When I spoke to him on the phone he told me that I had a broke spring. He told me that when they replace the spring, the kit comes with new bearings, cables and a 5 year warranty. I was shocked when he quoted me the price...$574.00. I told him that was quite a bit more than I anticipated. He told me that he didn't set the pricing it was all done by the company. Reluctantly, I agreed because I needed my wife to be able to get her car out of the garage. I called back to the toll free number to ask some questions. I was transferred to "Customer Support." When I asked about the price, the lady said that they do in fact set all of the pricing, but she said mine cost that much because I s
