Okaw Prairie Landscapes

I'm giving a 3 star review because over then past 5 years we have been contracted with them for all of are lawn care including treatments, aeration, seeding, mowing, leaf removal, and spring cleanup they have done a great job. We renew our contract annually and are given a convenient monthly fee for all services. That would have left us at a 5 star review. The problem is this year, we started working with them to renew our contract in January and the treatment portion has been done for quite some time now. Today my husband got a call from the guy in charge of the mowing and related services to inform him they had to decrease their service area and are no longer coming to our town. We have been very satisfied with the creativeness and responsibility of the owners and crew of Okaw Prairie Landscapes. They listened to our needs and had great ideas. Each project was completed in a timely manner. The crew is very respectful and complete each project thoroughly. We have recommended this company to others.

Okaw Prairie Landscaping did a fantastic job at designing and installing our new landscape, hardscape, patio and lighting. They were very informative, courteous and professional. Their follow up to make sure we are satisfied has been more than we would have ever expected. The whole group is a pleasure to work with and we highly recommend them.

I had a vision for my landscaping and the designer came and met with us in a very timely manner. He was professional and drafted exactly what I had in mind. When I saw the draft I was blown away. When they came to work on the landscaping the men were very professional and took time on their work. They worked the entire two days, were respectful and really paid attention to every detail. It was exactly what we were looking for. I cannot day enough good things about Okaw Prairie Landscapes. I would highly recommend.

In summer of 2018 I asked if they would come and give me an estimate. They stopped by, looked over what I wanted done and let me know they'd get back to me. I didnt hear a word from them until June of 2019. I was given an estimate with some computer generated images of what they planned on doing. I was told it would be around September before they could start. September came around and I was told they were still catching up on work from June-July so it would be sometime in October. I had a financial crisis come up and notified them I would need to cancel my project. They attempted to keep 150 of my deposit even though the contract states nothing about losing any of the deposit for canceling. Only after sending back the computer generated plans did they refund my full deposit, sending cash
