they are not good for the whirlpool bath tub. The contractor gave up on the whirlpool tub and insisted that I asking me to replace the motor, even though I had told him that the GFI switch had tripped off during my analysis and the motor kept running. It was just a problem with the air switch, since we couldn't stop motor once plugged in. I didn't agree with the contractor's recommendation to cut the panel underneath and replace it. Also, contractor even didn't know how to open Panel underneath the tub. Overall, I was not very happy with the kind of diagnosis that the contractor performed and he did not seem experienced with the tub. However, I remained patient and replaced the air switch myself, and now the tub is working nicely. I kept telling the contractor that the GFI switch had trip
