Old Gin Carpets

Old Gin just recently finished installing Coretec LVT in our kitchen, breakfast area and laundry room. Old Gin was super helpful and accommodating throughout the process and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome. Shane addressed all of our questions/concerns in advance of starting the project (I have to say I might have been a doubter about how some of it was going to work out) and made sure the final result was exactly as he told us it would be. We recently had Old Gin do a hardwood installation. Shane was very helpful during the selection process and coordinating the installation. His employees took great care during the install process and the finished product looks great.

Our experience started out great. We walked in on a Friday and found what we were looking for. My husband can lay carpet so we just needed the carpet and carpet pad. We placed our order, paid for it, visited with the owner a little, then went on our way with the expectation that it would be ready for pick up the following Tuesday. That day came and went with no call. We called the store on Thursday to ask about the status. They were going to check and get back to us. NO CALL. I went by the store on Friday. I was told the carpet was in but the carpet pad wasn't. It should be ready for pick up the next week. I called again 2 different days trying to get a date with NO CALL. Finally on Friday, a week and a half after our original it will be ready date, the pad was going to be at the store by

We used OGC for flooring in our past homes. Our most recent experience could have been better though since we were ultimately unable to get them to return and finish the job. Our first flooring jobs went reasonably well with little to no complaints and their prices were competitive with commensurate workmanship.

Awesome! describes the whole experience. We had two layers of vinyl and luan removed before installing luan and new LVT in an extensive area of our home. The price was about the same as a big box store for a better quality floor. The installers worked diligently to remove and reinstall the flooring. They cleaned up each day. The new floor looks great both because of product and because of the installation job. We have been Old Gin customers for years. No matter who assists us with the project the results have been fabulous. Our son is also using them for work on his house. Our family will continue to use the family owned Old Gin Carpets for all our flooring needs.
