Wonderful experience with Old School Studios! Paul was great to deal with...excellent communication and really easy going. He refinished/repaired a couple mid century modern consoles for me and I really couldn't be more happy with the result. The attention to detail and workmanship is really impressive. I can't believe they are the same pieces of furniture. They are much nicer now then they would have been out of the factory. If you are looking for someone to restore a piece of furniture, I really wouldn't look any further. Paul seems to be the kind of person that does things the right way and I am definitely going to use them to restore other pieces! Thanks again Paul!

Paul was a pleasure to work with. He helped to beautifully restore this old table and chairs I found. He was easy and quick to communicate with, was reasonably priced, finished them with stunning detail, and had a very quick turn around time. I look forward to working with him again.

Love my newly restored pair of matching end tables! Paul did an excellent job returning my great grandmother’s tables to like-new condition. Can’t tell they’re at least 120 years old now! Beautiful job!!!

I inherited a beautiful old secretary desk from my mother in law, but it was definitely in need of some TLC. Paul was recommended to me by a former colleague and I'm so happy to have been directed to him! What a difference! Paul was even able to replace the drawer pulls inside the hutch (much better than the wood screw LOL) I am overjoyed with his work and professionalism. He gave me an initial quote and that was the end cost. He gave me a reasonable time frame and came in right on time. And despite the amount of work and summer heat, walked me and my husband around looking at the works in progress, discussing furniture restoration in all its ups and downs, and was truly patient and generous with his time and attention. I found an old soap dish at a vintage store, but I hadn’t considered rust. I quickly realized it needed some work. I took it to Paul at Old School Studios who gave me options, especially after I found out the exact same style of soap dish had been sold at Walmart in the past! If it had turned out to be the Walmart kind, Paul even knew how to copy the piece and make it look like I wanted with a better quality modern material. Turns out it was real cast iron after all! It came out perfectly! Love it! Paul said it should last another 100 years.
