Old South Lighting & Ironworks

We bought a door from Old South for our new home under construction. The bronze coating on the door is peeling off and our house is not even completed. Our experience with Old South has been horrible. The door is of poor quality and now we are going to have to pay another company to fix it.

We love the door , so do my neighbors. The paint that was used does not stick to the surface , just fakes off. This is the second time it has been painted by Old South. I should have went with the gut on this one, and did business elsewhere.

Wonderful Experience! Old South did all of our Lighting as well as our Iron Railings and beautiful hand forged iron doors. Great Experience! Super family run business! They care about their customers and will work until your happy. They did scale drawings on all of our custom work so we had no problems and got exactly what we wanted the first time. Much better experience in comparison to the last house we built and used some back yard welder that didn't know the codes, no drawings, etc. (that was a nightmare)

My doors are peeling and I cannot get anyone to answer my calls or respond to my messages. NOT RECOMMENDED! Overpriced, cheap quality and does not respond after they have your money.

Good luck getting service after the sale. I have been trying to get someone out to repair/repaint my peeling front door for a few months now.
