Old World Restorations Inc

We worked with Old World Restoration a few times. From restoring a damaged print to restoring an old wedding certificate from the early 1900s they have proven to be reliable and professional in knowledge and work. The wait for the restorations has been worth it to us.

My wife had a photo of her Great Grandmother in an old "Union" case where the top had basically crumbled into pieces. In addition, the glass covering the photo had become dirty over time. We found only two companies in our region that sounded like they could possibly handle the restoration, one in Indiana and Old World Restorations in Cincinnati. We just picked up the piece today and found that OLR had done a miraculous job in restoring the case, and had cleaned the glass so that the entire photo is clearly in view. While OLR specializes in restoring old painting, we would trust their skill and creativity to handle a myriad of restoration tasks!

I brought this painting of a Navy ship I was stationed on to Old World because it had a nasty puncture wound in it from when it was shipped to me several years ago. The team gave me a quote within a few days and was always quick to respond throughout the process. Job was done earlier than I expected, and I was blown away at how good it looks. They exceed all expectations. They can be trusted with things that are important to you, and they will do a great job! Thank you to the entire team there!

This was beyond my expectations! They worked on 2 pieces for me. One was a hand me down from my grandmother that she had made with her sister. They restored it and upgraded it for another 50 years so my kids will be able to use it. Second they did a piece that was given to me, meant to be a family heirloom. I had done nothing with it for a couple of years because Covid. They educated me on the best ways to preserve it and display it, which were not the most expensive options. When I have an art need, this will be the first place I go. Fantastic and friendly the whole way through!

A treasure item I've had for 50 years. My parents next door neighbor had this in her kitchen. When she discovered my love of Betty Boop, she gifted it to me and Patty as a wedding present. She bought it new in the early 30's. Over the years, the paint/plaster started to fail. To prevent any further deterioration, I took it to Old World Restorations here in Cincinnati. They did a miraculous job on two family heirlooms about 30 years ago, so I knew they were the right ones tackle this task.
