Michael, his sister Eva and the entire crew at Old World Stone are outstanding. Since day 1 they went out of their way to accommodate budgeting, permits and everything related to the job. I highly recommend their services. The best in the DMV!

Michael and his crew are amazing! They are super efficient and the work is high quality. Their prices are very reasonable. Michael is easy to communicate with and made useful suggestions on our project that didn't significantly increase cost but greatly enhanced the end product. He has that rarest of qualities in contractors: he actually cares about customer service. Old World Stone did the original stonework for our house, which was new construction, and I hired them to add some steps to the front porch post-completion. I liked the work so I called Michael back a few months later for landscaping and patio work. He got his crew in quickly for both projects and they were here at 7am every day until the jobs were done. Highly recommend.

We are extremely happy with the work that Old World Stone did. Michael explained everything to us, was very receptive to our needs, and had useful suggestions (e.g. about the special deicing product we should use to protect the grout). The entire project came out way nicer than we could have imagined. If we ever need any stone work done in the future, we will definitely trust Old World Stone company.

My wife and I wanted a patio with a stone fireplace in our back yard. We reached out to a few companies and ultimately ended up going with Old World Stone. We couldn’t have made a better choice. Their prices were very reasonable after comparing them to other companies. They did the job right the first time and we get so many compliments when we have guests over. We had such a great experience from the start with them I wouldn’t want to use anyone else. If you’re looking to get any stonework, brick work, pavers or even concrete work done I suggest using them.

I HIGHLY recommend using Old World Stone. I've spent over three decades renovating our 130-year-old historic home and, in the process, have hired dozens of contractors... this company stands out as truly one of the best I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. In a word, I would use "phenomenal" to describe the job OWS did designing and constructing our mosaic-pattern flagstone walkway & front steps... the stone masons were true artists in every sense of the word. On a scale of 1-10, I'd rate the quality of the work they did - and at a reasonable price I might add - as an 11!! Michael, the owner's son, also was EXTREMELY responsive in returning calls, answering questions & making useful suggestions. I could not be happier with the outstanding job he & the rest of the OWS team did!!
