Olympia Fencing Center Cambridge

I’m from Singapore and came to Olympia fencing club as I was in Boston for a holiday. After a short email exchange with the owner Iulia, I was told I could join in for an open sparring session. From the start of my correspondence with Iulia till the end of the sparring session, everyone was so friendly and made me feel welcome! Coach George as well as everyone who attended the open sparring made me feel like I was part of the family and I had a great time fencing here at Olympia. I’m sure anyone who comes will feel the same warm welcome! Recommended to everyone who would like to try fencing! 💯 👍🏻

I was a college fencer and my son wanted to try out the sport. I obviously wanted to choose the best club for him and researched clubs in the area and I really chose right. My son started here three years ago and not only has he become a proficient fencer (he got a bronze in his last competition), but the club and sport have really helped him mature. I am so thankful to Coach Lori, Coach Robert, Coach David, and Coach Daniel for all the work they’ve done with him. I loved the club so much that I decided to return to the sport and even switch weapons so that I could be a part of this club. Olympia Fencing Center is an outstanding club with top-tier training. The Hondor family is incredibly considerate and welcoming, making everyone feel at home from day one. The fencers here are also very warm and supportive, creating a fantastic training environment. The high level of instruction is undeniable, which is clearly reflected in their national results and the many fencers competing for top NCAA university teams. I highly recommend Olympia to anyone looking to start fencing or refine their skills!

Love the fencing class here! The coaches are super nice and caring, especially for people who have no fencing experience. They also do a great job with keeping everyone COVID safe. All equipments and rentals are professional cleaned! 10/10 recommend

Our daughter started fencing at Olympia at age 6 followed closely by her younger brother. Now 8 years later under the coaching from Daniel and Lori, they have both grown into competitive athletes and have found a community full of love and support. Olympia has truly become our second home. They are traveling for national and international tournaments making friends all over the world. Both my husband and I are also fencing as part of the adult class which is a fun way to stay connected and fit while having a blast. We can’t imagine our life without Olympia!
