Omaha Douglas Civic Center Parking

Parked here for an event at the Rose theater. When the show was over, hoards of people flowed out of the Rose theater and down the street towards the parking garage. We found the entry doors to the parking structure were locked. Large groups of people with small children then started the pilgrimage around the building finding ourselves pushed into oncoming traffic to get around the construction. Another show goer ran ahead saying he would go around and let us in. After he opened the doors only a small group made it through the door before it was closed and locked again. When we made it to the exit in our car more large groups of family’s were walking around and trying to run through the car exit as the gate went up. Steel gate closed on my car while I was entering the parking. As soon as my card was accepted and they let me in, the gate closed on my car, damaging the top of it. What the hell. I have dashcam footage of it too. Only parked here to avoid the hail. Never parking here again.

Court needs to compensate us when they are the reason we have to spend money here. They lost my paperwork. Had me waste 350$ multiple times now. And cost me time.

I have a reserved parking spot through my job that's on the 7th floor. You have to scan a card to enter the garage and also once you're about to go above the 3rd floor. It can be really busy at times and I have found people in my spot on a few occasions. The staff is very friendly though.

My daughter and her husband were recently married there and I just felt that the judge that married them had been there for 30+ years and recently retired. Superb.
