One Alamo Center Parking Garage

This parking worked great for me as I parked here for 24hrs while staying one day/night at the Canopy by Hilton San Antonio Riverwalk hotel right across the street. After parking, it took some time figuring out how to exit the garage on foot. The elevator and stairs led to a lobby in which all the doors were locked. But I was able to finally just walk out along the exit ramp vehicles use to get to the street. I got a ticket when I entered, stayed for 23hrs and then when leaving I just scanned the ticket and paid $40 (24hr price) with my credit card and exited without any issues.

Paid $15 online. When we arrived, sign said "full". We moved the sign because that's a lie or they overbooked. Scanned in, it then said "take ticket". We took the ticket (which was a mistake). When we left we had to pay another $15. Scam artists. I am posting this all over social media.

Literally got stuck in a stairwell here and had to have a friend come get me. Terrible signage about where to exit to get to street level. The lobby doors were locked when I used the elevator, so I went to find another way and the door locked behind me. So I was locked in a stairwell. Thank goodness I still had cell service.

This garage was continuing to issue parking passes, even though it was at full capacity. We had to pay $15 to get back out, even though there were no parking spaces! No attendants on duty to help! Also the garage was so crowded we were unable to exit for over 30 minutes. Horrible experience! How hard is it to put up a “Full” sign?

Overhead lights indicate open spaces and makes it easier to find parking. Entry sign provides level and spaces available.
