One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning

Was EXTREMELY overcharged for new duct work, a UV light, and a light dusting of new insulation in the attic of our home. The online permit lookup showed they only claimed a couple thousand in materials, which means we paid them approximately nine thousand dollars in labor over the course of two days. For the price we paid we should have at least gotten new refrigerant, a coil cleaning, and all new insulation. I regret letting myself get hustled by this company. Please save yourselves from making the same mistake I did.

Made an appointment for the paid yearly service at my mother’s house. Was set between 10 - 2. Waited and not even. Txt or call. I call and they tell me the tech had come out and there was no answer! BS! Why did they not call or msg as is stated in My txt for conformation????? Very unprofessional and disrespectful!

I have used One Hour for a few years. They were great when I needed a new HVAC during the pandemic. However, when you need something fixed in an emergency beware. The unit they sold me in 2020 just stopped cooling. I was on my way home when I found out. They gave me an appointment window of 6PM to midnight to come look at it. I gave them my number as the callback for their impending arrival. At approximately 230 PM they texted my husband’s phone. We missed it due to our traveling. They put us down as “could not reach” and cancelled our appointment. Because they cancelled it, we couldn’t get the appointment time of 6 PM back. Now there’s no AC until tomorrow in 90 degree weather. This cancellation thing is their policy. Beware!

First time I called for their service the technician was awesome and helped me out tremendously so much to the point I called a second time to make another appointment with the same company however this is where I had problems and ultimately canceled doing further business with them. I made an appointment regarding a thermostat wi was originally quoted for a $89 service fee by the scheduler, however due to the schedulers error the next day I received a call stating that though it was the error of the scheduler they would be changing their service fee to $198 due to the appointment being on a Sunday. They were 2 hours late for a scheduled appointment. Our AC was working fine we just wanted to know if we needed any preventative maintenance. They said we needed $9,000 of duct work done. This was said by just looking at the vents on the ceiling. I asked if they should check in the crawl space and look further. They looked up there from just the ladder and a light. We got a second opinion from another local HVAC company. They did a thorough inspection went clear up in the attic and inspected all joints and duct work. They said it was in excellent shape and didn’t even need cleaning. GET 2nd OPINIONS WHEN WORKING WITH ONE HOUR!
