Oriental Rug Bazaar

Several years ago one of our clients gave my parents a 10x14 Indian hand tufted wool rug. The clients were either redecorating, or found it too soiled & full of many years of carpet fresh powder to keep. Not being members of a throw away society, my parents gladly took the free gift, but it did tend to leave behind a white sandy powder wherever it lay. My parents used it in their tiled living room for several years and I inherited it after my fathers death. I used it for a year on vinyl laminate, routinely lifting it to vacuum up the white sandy powder it deposited. My mother and I recently purchased a Victorian style home with original oak floors. I decided to finally have this rug professionally cleaned before we put this rug down on the hardwood flooring, so the rug spent a month in

When I first walked in I wasn't sure if I could purchase, beings I'm also moving into a new apartment, but the gentleman that owned it not only worked something out for me to make payments and to still get to take the rug with me. I believe that the large store on Westheimer has closed, but in a conversation with the owners while bringing some rugs to be cleaned and restored, they mentioned a smaller location that may still be open. I hope this is the case. We gave them two rugs for restoration of fringe, and repair of significant side damage. The work done was excellent and as expected. Colors matched perfectly, and the new fringes on both rugs are perfect. We were treated with courtesy and respect. Prices were explained fully. The scope of work was understood. We live in San Antonio, and were referred to Oriental Rug Bazaar by our decorator who has decades of experience with this company. Massoud and Roya, we wish all the best.
