Osborne's Expert Appliance Repair

I have used Osborne appliance repair in the past and they are wonderful! Although yesterday my washing machine wasn’t working and all that was done was poking the latch cover with a screwdriver to get it to work and was charged $158. I understand about basic service call fees. I just wish I had known that ahead of time. All on all, I am very happy that my machine is working again and I would still recommend Osborne.

Osborne Appliance really went above and beyond. My in-laws who are elderly had an appliance break down and I was trying to help while not living in the area. Russell understood my situation and said he would be willing to help. He helped even though this was an appliance he normally wouldn't work on. My in-laws really liked him. He even called me to make sure I understood the decisions being made.

We called them thinking they were going to come fix our washer just to find out that we needed a new one and he still charges the 158 and we called him to complain about it cause we didn’t understand that even if he couldn’t fix it, he was still gonna charge us that which I think is fraud and very unprofessional and we called him to complain about it and he said he wasn’t going to negotiate nothing rude old man. I would not recommend him to anyone because he’s not very nice at all and he very unprofessional.

Our washer was not opening, door was stuck on lock. He said it was $158 service fee to come out but would go towards any repairs but if we don’t want him to repair it is the $158. At no time did he tell me it was this plus time. He comes out and tells my husband it’s this plus time and that the pump is bad so he orders the part. My husband paid a deposit. He came out to repair it and then the price changes because he forgot “taxes”. We paid $650 for the repair. And he didn’t even clean up his mess. He may be quick, and even knowledgeable, but his service is lacking and he should really put things in writing.

Mr Osborne came to repair my stovetop vent. It stopped working. He looks for the model on the internet and decided it needed to be replaced not repaired. Without any electrical testing he charges me a 185 evaluation fee and leaves. The electric for the house went off during excessive heat. When it came back on the stovetop vent worked completely fine. He didn’t even check the electric panel which appears to have been the issue. When contacted by text, he never responded. I would not recommend him to anyone.
