Outer Banks Floor Covering

Have been using Outer Banks Floor Covering for over 15 years and can't say enough good things about them. At our previous house, Rocky did the tile floor in the master bathroom. A few years later we installed vinyl planking and what a great job Brad and his crew did. Very hard working and cleaned up afterthemselves nicely. Have just finished installing Luxury Vinyl planking in a new home. Hope and her staff staff worked very hard to get us scheduled and were great keeping us informed of any issues. The crew worked very hard and got the job done in the time frame quoted to us. We are 100% happy customers! People cannot believe that our floors are Luxury Vinyl planking - they all say "hardwood"?

Outer Banks Flooring installed new flooring in our Atlantic Beach Condominium and did a wonderful job! Hope was personable and professional. She made knowledgeable suggestions to enhance the plans we had formulated! We shopped the other area flooring companies and Outer Banks pricing and products were superior! Awful experience since the day that our LVP floor was installed. Had to be replaced 3 years later. We were constantly blamed that it had to be our fault as to why our LVP was damaged all throughout our house- excuses like “kids roller skating” or the moisture under the house. I can assure you no one roller skates in our house and our crawl space has been checked multiple times and looks great. Now less than 3 years after being repaired we are tripping over the LVP because it is so poorly fit in our kitchen. Owner refused to help. Really hoped to get more than a few years out of a 10k project, but was told we will have to buy all new flooring for the entire house and that she would not help at all. Very sad to see from a business that we chose because it was “local”.

Hello, I'm not sure that my review of this Family owned business is going to be adequate enough! We (myself and 2 service dogs) are new to NC, and one of the first people I met was Gunner Gentry. Being disabled I was in desperate need of floor padding (I had indoor/outdoor carpet) to help soften and warm my apartment! I saw a flooring van and asked who I thought was a general contractor, if he could save whatever scraps of carpet padding he would have leftover from jobs. I proceeded to explain that being on a very low income, I would be unable to have enough money all at once. He said, "absolutely he would help us, with whatever we needed", and proceeded to tell me he was part owner of the company. Much to my surprise he started me off with a remnant of padding and told me to keep in touch

Outer Banks Floor Covering did all of the hardwood flooring in our home. We have been in our home for nearly 10 years and the floors still look awesome. Plus, they are a family owned business and just wonderful people to work with. We would recommend Outer Banks Floor Covering, Inc. to everyone!
