Overhead Door Company of Houston [Miner Corp.]

This is not the same company they use to be....Had an issue with a large overhead door so called them 1st to take a look. Teach arrived almost at closing, spent at best 15 minutes and said there was nothing he could do and they would send me an estimate.....Got estimate of $6k and a service fee charge of over $600? Called another local company, they were here in less than 2 hours, he climbed up there and actually looked at what was going on, took pieces that fell out and put back together, he did say it needed more work but totally repairable but door will work for now and charged $236.....Over Head door was a complete rip off and would not trust any of their techs to look at or repair any of my 9 doors.....Don't waste your time on them unless you want to waste money and time.....sad becau

I had called for fixing my garage, and they send someone to fix it. but the technician came to home and said we no longer work with Wayne Dalton. And charged me $123 for just saying we dont service and we can do replacement. I will never recommend. SCAM

I've been a customer for years. Last time they were out was 2022. They insisted I fill out an updated customer information form before they could even schedule a technician to come see why my door was not opening even though they had my information in their system. I have trucks to load and unload daily. I don't have time at the moment to do something that has nothing to do with getting a technician on the way. Nothing has changed about my customer information. Miner, your strict adherence to what should be a secondary issue regarding CIF cost you a customer. People really need to get their heads right and focus on who keeps their doors opened, no pun intended. During a Friday afternoon - and having to leave the house for the weekend - my garage door decided to completely come off the tracks and collapse on itself. I initially tried getting the door back on the tracks myself, but quickly realized I was in way over my head. At this point in time it's late in the afternoon and concern on how to secure the property is getting real. I ask my good friends at Ragna Roofing & Renovations to see if they know of anyone that can assist, and they reach out to the "Overhead Door Company of Houston" (Miner) for an emergency repair. Cody at Overhead door was great. Scheduled me for my appointment and the guys were even early. Extremely fair pricing and they knocked the rollup door out in 30 mins. Would recommend
