Pace Drywall LLC

First and foremost I was forced into using Pace Drywall LLC from my builder. The original drywall work and craftsmanship was not bad. Gets a 2-3 star on that front. The seams are starting to bulge a little less than a year in and there are some anomalies here and there. When it comes to any warranty work, Pace gets a solid 0. The personnel they send for warranty work are very obviously a different caliber than the professionals they use on original install. The person they sent was constantly not on time and even came on the hours I specifically told them not to, as I had an important meeting to take. The repair was done but the sanding was obviously streaky. I confirmed with the worker several times that these mud spots looked streaky and if they would come out better upon painting and

They really do not care about their customers. Our builder, for some reason, has this company as the drywall company under our warranty. We had an A/C leak a couple weeks ago where the HVAC company had to cut into the drywall in two separate rooms. It took a week and a half to make the appointment for Pace to come out and fix the drywall. The appointment was scheduled yesterday from 1-3pm and the Pace employee showed up at 5:50pm. I had to move other stuff around in my evening. He then tells me he does not have enough material (after doing nothing) to do the job that day and that he will be back in the morning. Anyways this morning he does not show up. So we call the company around noon again to figure out what is going on, and they say someone will show up between 1-2pm. It is now almost

I don’t know why Smith Douglas builder uses them for warranty repairs. The whole nail pop/ settlement crack fix is a joke. Somebody came in, smeared stuff on the wall and was done in literally ten minutes. It took me longer to mark up spots than for them to do a job. Disaster. And now I have to sand and repaint and it barely looked any better than before.

Went to Pace for a renovation project only to find out they do not do renovations, however, they took the time to give me names and phone numbers of individuals who do. I was able to get a quote and date to get my project complete! Thank you for your help!
