He was given a timeline to get the job done, we gave him 1/3 of the money upfront to buy supplies & a 1/3 of the money at the midpoint to order the flooring & countertops… 1 week before completion date, Johnny tells me that he “lost” the second payment of money & therefor could not order the flooring or pay for our countertops.. that if we still wanted that work done that we would need to buy carpet & countertops with the last bit of money owed… it ended up costing us $4k more than the initial project quote to complete the flooring & countertops outside of Johnnys work. Hiring Paniagua Painting was one of the worst decisions I’ve made as a homeowner. From start to finish, this job was riddled with unprofessionalism, dishonesty, and poor workmanship. First, the quality of the painting itself was absolutely subpar. The finish was uneven, with visible brush strokes, missed spots, and areas where paint dripped and dried unsightly. It looked rushed and careless—as if the job was done by amateurs, not professionals. To make matters worse, Paniagua failed to order the correct materials needed for the job.
