Park Place Parking

Elevators have been broken a long time, which is unacceptable when the first 3 levels is reserved parking and at the rates charged. Speaking of rates charged, posted parking rates are not representative of what you’re charged, and that seems deliberately misleading. Furthermore, no staff on hand, no cameras that I could see. Park at own (high) risk.

NOT SAFE/BUSTED WINDOWS. First for one night, Thursday evening 6pm- Friday morning 9am was $48. Highway robbery for what it’s worth. My car along with dozens of others had their passenger windows smashed and cars gone through. No cameras, garage doesn’t help any, and I still had to pay $48 to park. The elevator smells like it’s peed in daily. I think you’re probably safer parking on the street to be honest. If however you choose to park here, Woods Hardware on 9th right around the corner is fantastic for your tarp, duct tape, and garbage bag needs for your ride home when it’s snowing, 15° outside, and there is glass in your entire car.

PARK SOMEWHERE ELSE! YOUR VEHICLE IS NOT SAFE HERE! Parked our car here last night (1/18/24) to see Beetlejuice the Broadway Musical and stay at the Kinley Hotel overnight. Came back to retrieve our car this morning to find our car, along with several others, with their windows busted out. We had no belongings sitting out, but someone broke the window anyway and went through the entire car. This led to freezing in the winter cold, visiting the police station to file a report (since we were told the wait could be hours due to weather), driving a long distance with plastic in our window, etc. For $48 overnight and no security to help deter criminals, I’d find somewhere else to park.
