Parking 10 West Edge Parking Garage

Horrible experience Sunday 4/6/2025. The out gate to Publix was broken. Machine would not take tickets. Each person had to call in for assistance and parking took forever to open the gate for each person. Backup of 20 people trying to get out. Should have been a quick visit to Publix, turned into 20 minutes wait to get out. Charleston Parking, please fix this problem. Not the first time.

I live on Broad, a few blocks away from the West Edge publix. I use this grocery store or Harris Teeter on E Bay for almost all of my groceries. Today, upon attempting to exit the garage I realized that I had inadvertently left my wallet at home. I had Apple pay but the gate’s tap device wasn’t operational. They refused to let me out! I sat there for an embarrassing 5 minutes as cars backed up behind me. The first attendant’s solution was for me back up and park and beg for someone to pay to set me free! Seriously! A manager named CHRIS REDDINGER who was very rude made me feel like a deadbeat and recommended I park, walk back into publix, purchase a gift card and then try to use that to exit. Carol is awesome to work with. we have stayed in this lot for 2 years now as our son is attending the Citadel. Great secure lot with security as well. if you need a place to park that is clean and safe, use this place!!
