Parking Deck

One star is one too many for this deck. I paid to park for two hours, then had the restaurant validate me as well (didn't know they validated until after I had paid). Anyway, I guess I exceeded the two hour paid parking but not the 3 hour validated parking only to receive a $55 plus fine. Denied my appeal - would stay very far away from this deck!

I received a $55 “parking violation” from Parking Revenue Recovery Services even though the lot at 513 W Jones St has no posted rules, no posted penalties, and no contract terms anywhere on site. They claimed I “breached posted rules” that do not exist and even threatened debt collection for something that is not a valid debt. I filed complaints with the North Carolina Attorney General and the CFPB, and I strongly recommend others do the same if you get one of these notices. If the signs don’t list a fee or a penalty, you don’t owe anything and these invoices are unenforceable. Protect yourself and report it. Companies shouldn’t be allowed to do this.

Same experience as others reported. There is no signage saying parking is private and they have gates up during evening hours. You get ticket in the mail a week later for $90. I will dispute and do a complaint with BBB.

No Stars - wish google would allow you to post a review without giving any. We parked here on a weekend - gates were up on both sides. There was no signage saying what the cost was per hour. When leaving there was no way to pay. About a week later we received a bill in the mail to pay $90 - we were there for about 1 11/2 hours. This seems very predatory to me - it's almost like they were inviting us to park there "for free" so they could bill us. After receiving the bill we did some research and seems this is what they do - there are BBB complaints, etc. Park here with caution!

Terrible experience! We paid $25 for "event parking" which apparently was strict about a 3-hour time period. We exceeded the 3 hours by 20 minutes and received a $90 fine in the mail! After complaining they reduced to $70. Yes we exceeded the paid time but $70 is ridiculous for 20 mins, especially considering we obviously weren't trying to skip paying for parking. We'll park somewhere else that doesn't try to take advantage of paying customers with outrageous fines.
