Parking Garage @ Japan Center

I parked at the Japan Center garage when I went to the China Consulate in San Francisco. The garage was easy to find and very convenient. It is about a 3 minute walk to the consulate, which made it a good option. I paid 3 dollars per hour, which I thought was reasonable for San Francisco. The garage felt safe and clean. There were plenty of parking spaces when I went in the morning. Getting in and out was simple, and the payment process was easy. Overall, I would park here again. It was convenient, affordable, and close to everything I needed.

Excellent parking garage. Didn't get any suspicious folks around. But there are lot of signs to not leave important/valuable items or viewable bags in your car. Entering was easy as leaving. It is a busy parking lot so you may need to make sure to save some time to find parking spots. We got extremely lucky and found a parking spot on the first floor. It is very tight, so if you're planning on driving a bigger SUV or Truck, expect it to be very difficult to maneuver through. Ticket: keep your ticket with you. Do not leave it in the car. When you are leaving, pay at the pay station before leaving or you can pay at the gate. We paid before leaving and it was easy. Just insert the paid ticket and the gate opens. The garage was clean, safe and well lighted. I gave 4 stars only because the parking aisles and spaces on the first floor were rather tight even for a mid-sized car, but otherwise a great place to park in this area. I would've given 4.5 stars if I could.

Our go-to parking spot for all our Japan Town and Fillmore activities. Easy access, with plenty of open spots, it’s perfect for your city experience. Just hope this positive review doesn’t create crowding. 😉

Nice parking garage. Feel safe parking my car here. I arrived after close at 11pm and I was able to retrieve my car which was a relief and very easy. Perfect parking garage if you are attending a show at the Fillmore!
