Parkway Parking - 215 East Fayette Street

In most traditional cities, surface parking lots are confined to the fringes of a central business district. Unfortunately, 215 East Fayette Street was once the site of Baltimore's tallest building, the Tower Building. Similar in design to the Baltimore Arts, popularly known as the Bromo Seltzer Tower on downtown's westside, this building, consisting of a nine-story base and a 25-story clock tower including an observatory, was home to businesses ranging from the Associated Press to the Baltimore News American, along with a shopping arcade connecting Fayette with Baltimore Street, including a liquor store, dry cleaner, barber, and a restaurant which operated on the honor system. Unfortunately, the rise of the suburbs spurred away tenants and forced the arcade to close by the end of the 1950

Don't use this lot. I pulled into the E Fayette St lot. Sign said $13 all day parking. When I entered the receipt said I had 1.5 hours, not all day. I called support number on the receipt, and they let me out of the lot and said they'd take care of the refund. Today I got an email that said no refund will be issued because I was in the lot for 1.5 hours. You can't make this up. I found street parking easily for $8. Don't use this lot or any Parkway Corporation lots. They're scammers.
