Unit was installed in 2016, good pricing, good service UNTIL.... 1 yr after it was installed and unit froze over in a very cold night. It wasn't defrosting like it was supposed to. Then when unit would turn off after running a cycle, it literally sounded like it was going to fly apart. Like the motor or a bearing was or had gone bad after it froze over. After multiple calls, we finally got a tech from Parr to come check it out, he said.. "that's normal" !!!! kid you not. We told tech something was aplenty wrong as this was not "normal". He said if replaced any part, & if whomever made the decision that it wasn't warranty, we would have to pay for it. Way to "scare off" your customer! Kevin Parr and his talented team have been servicing my entire family's HVAC needs for over 2.decades. My father started getting Kevin for his HVAC services on his rental and personal homes in the 90s. Since then he has been servicing my Mom's, brother's, sister's, and my HVAC units. They are always fair, reliable and here when we have any problems with our units. I do heating and air for another company. We were called out to a customer's house. After the company either ignored or never responded to any of the clients calls. This customer had a heat pump air handler installed by this company who offered them a 10-year parts and 10-year labor warranty for an extra $250. However they never returned her calls we ended up having to charge and install a new coil that was leaking which the customer was charged by us because it wasn't our warranty. The 10-year labor warranty would have covered almost over $1,000 repair that this customer had to suffer . If anyone is looking for heating and air make sure you do your research I've never heard of this company personally but felt so bad for the couple who never got a call back I even tried calling for them an
