Pasadena Mulch

I have been going to Pasadena Mulch for the past 5 years. The quality of their materials and their reasonable prices keep me coming back for hardwood mulch, veggie mix, yard mix, and landscaping rocks! The person who loads the materials in my truck has done the best job of any I have seen in the 12 years I’ve owned my Tacoma:) I highly recommend them!

My wife and I are gardeners. For Christmas, we purchased four 17" tall metal gardening beds. This means we needed dirt. LOTS OF DIRT! We visited the big box stores and calculated that we needed 72 bags of premium vegetable soil. I live close to Pasadena Mulch and was curious to see what they offered. I looked them up, read reviews, and decided to call. By ordering a truckload, it was an easy choice. We scheduled the delivery and they delivered on the day they promised. Besides a horse shoe and some rocks, the vegetable soil was perfect and filled our new raised garden beds. I highly recommend Pasadena Mulch.

A Great Local Company for South Houston and Pasadena residents, for all their landscaping and soil needs. And probably even further away for clients who finds this operation and wish to return to, which is convenient and easy to enter and exit on Genoa Red Bluff. Which is easy to find from SH 3 aka Old Galveston highway. Affordable, reasonable pricing, Very Good communication, by an owner with experience in the industry and willing to give his best advice if you have questions. Not everything (plants, flowers or trees) grows well or is easy to grow in this planting zone. So, I ordered 6 cubic yards of dirt. Dump trucks fill to 10-12 cubic yards per a dump truck load. That's not what was delivered: it looks more like 2-3 cubic yards. The dirt blend (they don't sell topsoil) is mostly sand, nearly white in color. I'm not sure that the St Augustine sod that I plan to lay Sunday will take to this. I went because of the outstanding Google Review rating. This was a first and last purchase for me.
