Paterson Street Parking Deck

This parking garage is right across the street from the hospital building that has the OBGYN clinic. On December 30th 2025 my wife (who is 8 and a half months pregnant or 38 weeks) went for one of her routine OBGYN appointments with our 3 year old daughter. At the conclusion of her appointment she paid her fee at the machine on the bottom level of the garage and then headed up to get in her car and leave. As my wife attempted to leave the garage it would not accept her ticket. She called the attendant for help and he told her that she would have to pay an additional fee because she didn’t leave the garage within 15 minutes from her paying at the machine on the bottom level. Apparently from the time you pay your ticket you only have 15 minutes to leave or else you are charged an additional

Stressful parking lot. This was one of the most frustrating and disheartening parking experiences I've ever had. I lost my ticket while going to the hospital, an already stressful situation. When I returned and explained that I had lost it, instead of showing any understanding or compassion, they forced me to pay a fine. I was even told that if I didn’t pay, I’d have to go to court. Who goes to a hospital willingly? People are there in times of need, not for convenience. It’s absolutely unjust to penalize someone under such circumstances. This kind of inhumane system needs to be addressed and changed immediately by the proper authorities.

Easy pay and parking across the hospital. Lift only on one side.

Nightmare of a Parking Garage. Whoever designed this thing must have failed in Engineering. Very hard to find a spot, very confusing getting around, very easy to get lost while looking for your car on the way back. Avoid if possible!

Convenient lot in NB. It is huge. Rates comparable to lengthy street parking with benefit of significant discount for hospital visitors.
