Pat and his team just did a great job on rebuilding the decaying top of my very tall 25+ year old chimney (~40 ft). He was also able to handle the install of a high efficiency wood burning insert for my fireplace which included installing a new 316 stainless steel liner. Added 2 caps that it didn't have before. One for the insert and the other into the flue going into the basement for the boiler and water heater. ...No more tragic critter remains to be found. Also next to the chimney (and scaffolding) had a broken dryer vent exhaust cap that he was able to replace with a new one that I had purchased ...saving me the need to get a taller ladder and doing it myself. We searched online for a nearby Mason or chimney sweep who could clean and fix our chimney. We called Pat, and he responded promptly. Then when he and his team came by and swept our chimney, we asked him for an estimate to repair or replace our chimney, and he was honest and straightforward. We hired him on the spot after this positive experience and Pat demonstrated repeatedly that he was the right guy for the job. Any timeline promises Pat made were firmly respected, when he said he would arrive by 8 am he did; When he said he'd be done by 10 am he was done and his crew cleaned up the site afterward. Strongest recommendation possible for Pat! He removed and rebuilt my chimney with excellent workmanship, all at a reasonable price. I initially envisioned a standard red brick chimney, but Pat exceeded my expectations by using a variety of brick colors laid in a stunning geometric pattern. I'm impressed with his final result! He was professional, honest, and communicated clearly throughout the project. The work was completed efficiently, on schedule, and the site was left clean and tidy. Pat and his colleague, Matt, provided us with a great services repairing several cracks in our chimney concrete cap, installing stainless caps on the chimneys and corrected and improved the waterproofing where the roof and chimney meet. The chimneys were also cleaned and the ash trap in the basement was emptied. Pat also made repairs and repointed our 35+ year old front steps that need attention. Finally, Pat is a great guy to work with and very honest and direct. Highly recommended.
