Paul Davis Restoration

I recently had a disappointing experience with Paul Davis Restoration of Raleigh Durham. After a fire accident at my property, I requested an estimate for restoration services. Although I decided not to proceed with their services, I was surprised to receive an invoice amounting to 5% of the estimated cost. This charge was unexpected and not communicated upfront. When I contacted the company for clarification, they insisted the fee was valid, despite there being no mention of such a fee in our communications prior. To make matters worse, I am currently undergoing significant personal and financial challenges, and this added unexpected expense is a burden. I submitted my claim with Liberty Mutual the night of our incident. Paul Davis Restoration called that same night to let us know they would be over the next morning. Mathew was very professional and knowledgeable and quickly accessed our damage and went to work to mitigate the issue. He kept in contact with us and assured us no further damage to our sub-floor would occur.

Everyone at Paul Davis Restoration has been absolutely the greatest! They all have handled themselves very professionally, with courtesy & personably. Brantley, Bonnie, Christian, Noah, Shevil, Karl, & Matthew are wonderful people to work with during such a stressful time. They all made themselves available, any hour of the day, for any questions and concerns I had. They made me feel as if I was family & treated with respect, kindness & understanding. They really deserve to receive exemplary recommendation for all their hard work & for being rare individuals in business. I couldn't thank them enough for all their hard work & seeing things through until the end. Even though I'm happy to have my house fully repaired & restored, I will truly miss seeing them. Paul Davis was responsible for restoring my kitchen after a major Water leak, They used very poor judgement and did everything the cheapest way possible. They did not take any responsibly for the mistakes they made. My floor is warped , My kitchen cabinets are crooked and do not match up with the counters. The counter tops are very poor quality and did not fit right... I could go on and on ... but you get the point.. Do not use this company if you want any kind of quality work . One year later and I am still having to pay other people to fix this....

I now regret hiring this company and if you have not then I suggest that you "run" while you have a chance...do not hire them. They had a good talk game with a lot of promises of how they will do things, but do not hold true on promises. Also, what they do not tell you is that they hire local general contractors which are not qualified, low budget to them and in my case very disrespectful as well as not doing good work. I contracted them to replace an interior and storm door. They have made 6-trips to my house and still it is not right and they get upset when you complain about the work. The door is crooked, does not close properly, leaks and so much more. I am just tired of them coming and at this point will when I get the monies have someone to properly repair what they have messed up
