After searching all over Denver for some hardwood for my son's high school woodworking class, I finally found Paxton's and they were very helpful with what I needed. They even cut off 2 ft pieces of the boards I needed. highly recommend

I buy all of my hardwoods and other wood needs here for my online sign business. They have good variety and fair pricing. The guys there are helpful and make me feel welcome as one of their regulars. Dennis is one of their friendliest staff members although everyone is nice.

I've been using Paxton as my only hardwood (and most soft wood) supplier. The prices are fantastic, especially considering you're not ordering online sight unseen. Sure, you might find SOME place that offers this species or that at lower prices, but you're usually ordering it where that species is far more abundant. Staff has always been friendly and most, if not all, are woodworkers themselves. So they understand when people like me are picking through boards. Everything except the Beetle Kill Pine is kiln dried, at least the last time I asked (late 2019). And they offer deals of the month all the time, which usually result in some amazing pieces at SUPER low cost.
