Payless Insulation

I was quoted ~$2300 for removal of existing fiberglass insulation and spray-foam air sealing in the attic. No complaints about the insulation removal itself. The crew cleared out the attic and did a good job keeping things clean without leaving a mess in the house. However, the air sealing felt incomplete. I would estimate roughly 80% of the work was done. At the end of the job, they provide a satisfaction form to sign, but there was no walkthrough of the attic. In hindsight, I should not have signed before doing a thorough inspection myself. I needed the insulation removed so I could install rafter baffles afterward, which required me to go through the entire attic. They came out and sprayed a storage type room in my backyard with closed cell foam. They did a very professional job and taped everything off. It ended up probably being almost thicker than they had quoted. Very satisfied and would use them again. Really nice to find a local contractor also.

This company was referred to us via Nextdoor and they didn’t disappoint. From the initial visit with Gustavo who provided us with an explanation of the process, material to be used, and the proposed estimate (we did a full attic insulation) to the day of the installation.
