Chris and his staff were extremely prompt. My dad needed to expand his room for work purposes. He had to extend the roof and not many contractors wanted to touch it. Chris laid everything out for my dad and I. Chris was able to complete job in a timely manner. There were a couple hick-ups but he told me there would be in this particular job. I have reached out to Chris on numerous occasions to quote work that I have been planning. While I have not hired his company yet, he has been responsive and very professional in my contact with him. I would not have blamed him if he didn't take my calls as much as I have pestered him. I'm certain when the company changes, he will be the first person I call on the list. Earlier this year our screen enclosure was struck by a small tornado. I contacted Payne Construction and requested a bid for reconstruction from Chris Pickering. Chris was quick to respond and within a few days, we had his bid proposal to compare with others. We chose Chris and his company and are so glad we did. His overall price was very fair and the repair team was scheduled in a timely manner. The reconstruction team were very professional, friendly, and their work was excellent.
