Had the same experience on 10/3/19 was only 1/2 a block from my destination had a screaming baby in my car and the temp worker wouldn't let us thru they had not even started the work on any of the roads yet. Very rude temp worker .also was a woman there that patted the temp on the back telling him he did a good job . 2 hours later they had all roads covered with asphalt so we couldn't get out . Peavy needs to know how their employees are treating the people. We have jobs and homes to get to also . I think the city road commissioner should be notified.

I'd leave negative stars if I could. Came home on a Saturday morning at 10am to find my road under construction. When I got to the road I explained to the two gentleman that I live in the apartment complex down the road and they told me I can't go through. They told me I'm not allowed to go to my own home. The gentleman actually said to me, "It'll be fine, go have another beer or two." Are you serious right now? What kind of people does this company hire? They told me I had to park somewhere else & walk home. This is absurd. The company gave no warning to residents & then they tell us we have to park our vehicles somewhere else... What if I had just gone grocery shopping & needed to get the food into the fridge? What if I had young children with me? What if I was handicapped? What if I ur

George Youmans provided a quote to repair and asphalt our driveway, Youmans provided a quote which I accepted. After paying the quoted price, minus $500 dollars (expected to pay remaining balance after the work was done). Youmans became very unresponsive to any form of contact that I attempted over a course of 6 months. Youmans was independently contracted for the work, but always showed up in a Peavy and Son Construction company truck. Not only that, but checks were made out to both Youmans and Peavy and Sons. Would never use him again and would never recommend him.

This business discriminate against companies from out of town. Ordered Asphalt on Friday for Monday at 9 am. Claims they did not have the Rock and because we were from out of town they waited til time for delivery of Asphalt to tell someone they would not sell to us. I suggest you go somewhere else to get work done
